$20 Down Mattress Financing in Fort Myers (No Credit Check)

Mattress financing has gotten weird. Every retailer offers something — store cards with 24% APR, Affirm with hard credit pulls, “0% interest for 12 months” deals that suddenly hit you with backdated interest if you’re a day late. Most of it is designed to look free and end up costing you.

Our financing is purposely simple. Here’s how it works.

How $20-down financing works at our showroom

You put $20 down at your appointment. That’s it for cash up front. Then you make weekly or biweekly payments (your choice) over a fixed term — usually 90 days, 6 months, or 12 months depending on the mattress price.

• No credit check. No hard inquiry. Won’t show up on your credit report unless you default and we have to send it to collections — same as any debt.
• No co-signer.
• No bait-and-switch interest that backdates if you’re late. Late fees are flat-dollar, disclosed up front.
• Early payoff is free. Pay it off in two weeks and the price drops, no penalty.

The financing isn’t run by us — it’s a third-party lease-to-own program (Acima, Snap, Progressive — varies). They take on the credit risk, we get paid up front, and you get a mattress today without a credit check.

What it actually costs

Lease-to-own financing isn’t free. Over the full 12-month term, you’ll typically pay about 1.5x the cash price. So a $1,200 mattress paid out over 12 months ends up around $1,800.

This sounds bad until you compare it to:

• A store credit card — minimum payments at 26-29% APR keeps you paying for 3+ years on the same mattress.
• “0% for 12 months” deals — miss one payment, retroactive interest at 26%+ on the original principal. Hidden trap.
• Sleeping another year on a broken mattress — chiropractor visits, missed work, ruined sleep.

If you can pay off in 90 days, the cost premium is much smaller (usually 10-25%). Most of our customers do.

Who should skip financing

If you have $1,200 saved and good credit, just pay cash. The lease-to-own premium isn’t worth it when you have other options. Affirm or Klarna with their soft-pull installments will be cheaper, and a regular credit card paid off the same month is cheapest of all.

2. We pull up the financing portal on a tablet.
3. You enter name, address, income, and bank account info. Takes 3 minutes.
4. Approval decision in under 60 seconds.
5. $20 down on a card or via debit, e-sign the lease, done.

If you’re not approved by one provider, we run a second one. Most customers who don’t qualify for traditional financing get approved through one of these programs.

Frequently asked questions

Does this affect my credit score? No, unless you stop paying and we send it to collections. Standard for any debt — same as if you missed payments on a phone bill.

Can I pay it off early? Yes, with no penalty. Most providers give a discount for early payoff. We’ll show you the math at signing.

What happens if I miss a payment? A flat late fee (usually $10-25) and the next payment is rescheduled. After 60-90 days delinquent, the provider may report to collections.

Can I get this without coming in? Not for a mattress this size — we need to ship from our warehouse, which means we need an address, payment, and signed lease. That all happens at the appointment.
