When your old mattress is on the curb and you have nowhere to sleep tonight, “same-day delivery” stops being a feature and becomes the entire purchase decision. Here’s exactly how it works at our Fort Myers showroom.

How same-day delivery actually works

When you book an appointment with us, we already know what’s in stock at the warehouse next door. If you decide on a mattress before about 2 p.m. and it’s in stock (most queens, kings, and twins are), it’s at your house the same afternoon — usually within 4 hours of you signing the receipt.

If you book later in the day or pick a model that has to come from another warehouse (rare for the brands we carry), it’s typically next-day.

There’s no upsell, no “white-glove” tier, no surprise charges. Local delivery is included or available at a low flat rate depending on the city — we’ll quote it during your appointment.

If you’re outside these zones, we still deliver — it just won’t be same-day.

What’s included with delivery

• Two-person delivery into the bedroom of your choice
• Old mattress haul-away (just ask — no fee for a single mattress)
• Foundation setup if you bought one from us
• Inspection of the mattress on arrival before they leave

We don’t unbox your old mattress, dispose of bed bug-infested mattresses, or move heavy non-mattress furniture. Anything else, just ask.

What you need to do before delivery

1. Clear the path. Measure doorways and stairwells if your mattress is a king or California king. Most homes are fine.
2. Strip the old bed. Sheets, mattress protector, anything tied to the old mattress. We’ll take the mattress and box spring; the rest is yours.
3. Be home. Or have somebody home. We give a 2-hour delivery window the morning of, and the team calls 30 minutes out.

What if it doesn’t fit

We’ve delivered to second-floor walk-ups, staircases that turn, condos with tiny elevators, and beach houses with sand in the driveway. We’ve made it work in nearly every case. If a mattress genuinely cannot fit, we re-route to a different size or layout from the same brand and re-deliver — no charge.

Why same-day isn’t possible at most stores

At a national mattress chain, same-day delivery requires:

• A salesperson to close the deal
• Approval from a manager
• A warehouse pull
• A delivery scheduler in another office
• A two-truck delivery team that’s already booked out 4-7 days

It’s an entire chain of handoffs, and any one of them blocks today’s delivery. We compress all of it: the person you book with knows what’s in stock, runs the sale, and dispatches the truck. Same building.
